Who we are
Our group is a representation of the heart-and-soul football clubs that make up our global network. Each club is unified by a shared vision: to inspire, develop, and empower communities through the universal language of football. Comprising Fleetwood Town FC in England, Waterford FC in Ireland, and Hout Bay United FC in South Africa, our group spans diverse cultures, geographies, and perspectives—all connected by a deep passion for football.
Our history, our story
Originally formed in 1908 Fleetwood Town Football Club spent most of its history in the lower leagues of the English amateur game. With significant financial investment we have risen through the professional leagues with the most six promotions in ten years taking the club all the way to the EFL League One.
We expanded our reach globally with official partnerships with Waterford FC in Ireland, who have since gained promotion to the Irish Premier Division, and HBUFC who play in the third division of professional football in South Africa.
Community Trust
Fleetwood Town Communiity Trust (FTCT) is a vibrant and active community project that aims to provide socially inclusive community, health and education engagement programmes which aim to make a difference to the lives of people within our communities.
